Another ‘Gold medal’ for Indaver’s commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility

For the sixth time, Indaver has been awarded a ‘Gold Corporate Social Responsibility or CSR rating’ by Ecovadis.

Ecovadis is an independent international evaluation platform which assesses suppliers and organisations from 95 countries and 150 business sectors in terms of how and to what extent they demonstrate corporate social sustainability in four key areas: the environment, employment conditions, fair trade practices and procurement policy. This excellent result keeps Indaver in the top 5% of all suppliers assessed in the ‘waste management and treatment’ category.

Our industrial customers are committed to the continuous improvement of their own sustainability. To achieve that, they also look at their suppliers along the entire chain. They are keen to find out how sustainable their subcontractors are so that they can make the right, and least risky, choice when selecting their waste partner, for example.

Indaver as well remains committed to continuous improvement. So, in response to our 2018 score and improvements suggested by Ecovadis, we were able to improve our results and maintain our top position.
