IndaChlor update on construction works (FR)
During the summer and the holiday period of the last couple of months, the activity at the Indachlor construction site kept going. The buildings and major parts of the plant are now visible.
About 150 people are working on the premises every day to get our newest recycling plant up and running. All the main equipment and building structures have been built. All the tanks are in place, the tanks for the hydrochloric acid (HCl) and for the incoming waste, including the unloading station. The equipment of the process plant, i.e. the kiln, the boiler and the flue gas cleaning and HCl recovery has been mounted. The equipment for the waste water treatment and the energy building has been installed. In all areas of the plant piping, pumps, valves, etc. are in the process of being installed and the electrical contractor is on-site. The railroad construction works are in progress to make the site accessible for waste residues that come in by train.
The production team on-site is growing. The plant manager, the maintenance manager and the process engineer were already onsite and recently the production shift leaders have come on board.
We’ll keep you posted with further updates.
